The Big Giveback

Email Me Biff on Twitter -
While I was trying to come up with something spiffy to drop under this much delayed comic (Sorry 'bout that!), something came across my Twitter feed that I couldn't help but pimp. The original tweet was from the man, the myth, the guy who holds the title of "Most Confusing Ads to Grace This Site"... writer Mark Waid:

Today's hero: Vito Delsante, aka @incogvito: seriously, I implore you to check this out. I applaud you, Vito! http://bit.ly/fwioux

I stopped by and read the post. I have to say that I'm pretty interested in Vito Delsante's idea. He has put a new twist on a couple of older concepts. Using the characters he made for the 30 Characters Challenge, he has essentially opened things up for anyone to play with his toys under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share-Alike license.

Last character I saw like that was Jenny Everywhere only she's a no-strings attached (read: Public Domain) kinda' gal. = )

I attempted to write up something akin to Vito's idea a while ago. [LinkTastic] It was more of me building the sandbox and having folks bring their own toys. His idea seems way less complicated and has a better chance of gaining momentum. If you're curious, give his post a read. -> [LinkTastic]

I honestly can't wait to see what comes of this idea. Whatever happens, I'm sure it'll make for some interesting results. = )
