Nothing professional, mind you. Just a couple of animation classes in college. The one thing that I remembered from those classes is the old technique of stretching and squashing. I'd like to get back to that kind of exaggeration and animated movement in my characters again. Not only did it make for some interesting drawing sessions but it also conveyed emotions a lot easier than the model I've been using.

Since I did say that I would talk a little about the SYBaW book in the last post, here is what I was thinking: The book is cute, small and funny but it isn't complete. I had to cut stuff out to fit the page size for the project. It came out pretty good (Though I have found some 3am mistakes in it) but what I would really love to do is to make a complete one. Maybe even bring that same style I used in SYBaW and apply it to other monsters like vampires and zombies. That's pretty much the thoughts I have on it.
