The Deploy is one of those toys that has a great gimmick but fails when it comes to certain aspects. These include a slide-out stock that's pretty sloppy and a reverse plunger tube that's pretty weak when compared to other toys in the same line. My plan remains to fix these issues. Why? 'Cause I can.

Like, I Actually can. These are easy fixes to an extent. The stock will be reinforced with some brass rods and magnets. The tube will be replaced with a regular plunger system with a bit more punch. Moving parts will be slicked up so everything moves a bit more smoothly. Things like this are easy to do and are great ways to get folks into modding and basic repair without jumping right into rewiring a house and whatnot.

Since today's my birthday, I'm going to spend the res of tonight pigging out on cake and playing some video games. = )
