Obligatory Zootopia Post

Email Me Biff on Twitter -
I saw the film like a week ago.

No worries about spoilers and whatnot. I'll try to keep it light.

Going into it, I was excited. A Disney flick that I was actually looking forward to is rare these days. Not 'cause I'm some strange "Grown-Up"-type that's too good for Disney flicks. No... they've just not been my cup of tea. They're nice and all but I've been waiting for something like this for a while.

Seeing a cast of critters as leads, the teases at the flavor of comedy to expect and the designs brought back memories of the Disney Afternoon block of cartoons. Stuff like TaleSpin, DuckTales and Darkwing Duck. Properties that didn't necessarily need a musical number to sell them. Zootopia has that same vibe only in movie form. It's something I'd like to see more of.

I'd go in deeper but then I Really hit Spoiler Country. Instead, I leave it with this: The artwork is fantastic. Like, all of it. To the point where I'd love to scoop the 'Art Of' book for my collection. The folks on that film put a lot of love into this. So much so that I really want to up my game a bit for designs and acting. I'm sure Biff and the crew would enjoy being a bit more animated. = P

Next few strips will be One-Shots. Might do something special for Sunday as it's Easter and whatnot. Maybe Kikka will drop by? Who knows! I don't have anything written yet so it's up to the muse now.

'Till next time! = )
