Email Me Biff on Twitter -
One of my fave things to do every so often is to attempt to revive my old (often dead) tech. Tonight's experiment: Resurrecting my old Gen2 iPod Touch! = D

I was going to do so earlier in the week but I must have tossed the cord for it years ago. If memory serves, the bit on the wide proprietary connector blade thingie that the cord comes out of was Absolutely chewed up from years of use and abuse. In my defense... Apple put zero strain relief into these things. Looking at it causes the plastics to crumble and die like an ancient fabric wrapped radio power cord from the 40's. -.-

Well... seeing as this is an item that hasn't been standard on Apple gear in almost a a decade, I had to order a new one online (along with another cable for non-goofy tech stuff). Was supposed to come Monday, got an email last night saying it was to come later today (Sunday)... it was sitting on my usual chair when I woke up this afternoon.

Now I'm charging it up and seeing what all still works after all this time. Nearly locked my Apple account trying to log in. Turns out I did indeed switch my contacts over from the old and very dead Lycos mail account to the less so Gmail and personal site accounts. And I updated the passwords to something more modern that what I used back in the day. = P

On the Art Side of things...

Clyde, Explorer from the Deep is DONE! >.<

I got it finished during the week when it was so muggy my paper has started to curl. Like... literally. A wave that wasn't there when I bought the strip book has appeared and I know it'll make scanning a pain.

Anyhoo! It's time for a nice late night shower (it's muggy & not fun out tonight) and maybe start on the inks if I can manage it.

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on all that. And remember to keep your head up.

'Till next time! = )
