In-between working on the comic, I've spent time messing around in Destiny 2 (Like I do). This recent DLC - The Witch Queen - is a nice change from the last few.

The story stuff is solid. The campaign is fun and can be a challenge at times. Since they upped the levels of everything to a base 1350, this means anyone who - like myself - has been playing for a while can break out their old fave weapons and run around in the starter content without feeling like they're at a horrendous disadvantage. The Witch Queen story stuff is strong but can be blown through in a day. As in... you will devote like a solid 12 to 20 hours playing it If you just want to blow through it like that.

Another fun thing that's been added (or Re-added if you're a longtime player) is being able to run the missions again and at a higher difficulty. In fact, you could just run that higher difficulty like some kind of super champ straight out the gate!

For me, I took my time. The new location is great. Plenty of space to goof around in. I spent a fair bit of time leveling up while taking in the sights. We get only the smallest bit of Mars back which... I'm good with. I'd like to explore more but there's an entirely new section literally full of unknowns to explore so I'm happy.

The Crafting system is... okay. I was hoping for more but it's both the first DLC and Season with it so I'll see how things go over time. There are issues but I won't get deep into that as they are minor nitpicks.

Overall, I dig it. Great for us old Guardians. Should be fun for newcomers and returning players as some of the "Quality of Life" changes have been welcome additions. = )

Now I'm out to play a little more and do the usual post-comic update goodness.

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on that.

'Till next time! = )
