This week has been... yeah. -.-

Good Things:

- It has been Unseasonably warm. This is a good thing in that I've been able to keep my windows open and enjoy quite possibly the only warm breeze I'll get all year that isn't followed by hot mugginess and instant regret.

- I got Skittles for Easter! Not a small bag, either. One of those big ol' Ziplock style bags. I can now keep my little candy container filled for a few weeks.

- 'The Witch from Mercury' is back! I got fresh Gundam goodness to enjoy. = )

And now... the Bad Things:

- I need to fix stuff on my computer desk. I've got some ideas on how to do it but Ha HA! I caught a case of the "Bad Brain" when I was at the hardware store. I started second guessing my measurements something fierce. I simple trip out to get a couple of shelves cut to size turned into a fun game of "Are you Sure you did the math right on this?".

- The update of the code that runs this place has been Terribly annoying. I'm not fantastic with PHP by ANY means but I have to get this place up to a modern standard before I can do the thing I Really Want to do - move to a different CMS.

See, I can't do that currently as this site breaks in PHP 7. Hence the update.

To make matters worse, a lot of the fixes are "Technically" simple. It wouldn't be a week long trudge for someone who knows what they're doing. Me? I play fast and loose with stuff like letter cases and forget to add "PHP" to everything. If something breaks, I have to remind myself to check for errors that are not being caught by my programs. They are, after all, correct. They just don't do what I need them to do.

I am making progress, though. That's all that matters.

Now I'm off to figuring out why the value I get for "strip_id" - one that works on this older version AND in the newer version - doesn't want to work on everything on the homepage that requires it.

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on all that. And remember to keep your head up.

'Till next time! = )
