SDCC vs. the (Crazy) World

Email Me Biff on Twitter -
As you may well know, this weekend was the con of cons - San Diego Comic-Con. SDCC is like a nexus point of sorts where the worlds of comic and movies meet with fans of all ages. This event also seemed to scare up the crazies. Fred Phelps and the cats at the Westboro Baptist Church decided that SDCC was the comic book convention to protest at.

That's right my friends... the Westboro Baptist Church protested Comic-Con.

Since I wasn't on scene to witness the fun, I will simply toss you to the very nice article from the ComicsAlliance and the pictures it has. -> [LinkTastic!]

Gotta' love the Futurama cosplayers and the rouge furry. Nothing beats a protest by ridiculous people quite like an anti-protest filled with people being ridiculous. Also, All Glory to the Hypnotoad. o.o

On a happy note: Congrats to all the folks who got Eisner Awards this weekend! = D
