Like... nothing. No real post for tonight's blog, that is.

What I do have is a half painted pile of Astray parts which is pretty cool. = )

Normally, I'd be all quiet about it but I'm not sure what I'm going to do this year for an April Fool's strip. Had an idea that was cool for a while but it seems to have faded in it's fun. It was going to be a gag like the ones you see over at ThinkGeek - a fake product built out just enough to look real. The product? Biff the Vampire Cereal. Why? 'Cause Count Chocula kinda' has the market locked here in the US for vampire-themed monster cereals and I'd honestly love to see Biff on a cereal box.

Problem is, the more I looked into it and set to work on this kinda' elaborate project, the more I realized that the joke wasn't that strong. I mean... I could make a little package and set up a photo shoot with the fake product next to a real bowl of cereal like you'd see in a coupon circular. I have enough skills in marketing and design to make a fairly convincing package. It'd be a cool thing to do. A cool thing for me, at least.

I started thinking how awesome it'd be to see a Biff branded cereal. Like a raisin bran but with dried cranberries (gotta' have some red) and maybe a prize inside like a decoder ring or a mini comic you collected box tops for and had to send away to get. It's something I'd love to see in stores someday.

Not really much of a joke there. o.O

So I'm stuck and might just pass it up this year. Or not. Depends on if I come up with something neat in the meantime. For now, I'm going to figure out the best way to spray paint the rest of these parts without too much interference from the rain and get this toy built.

'Till next time! = )
