Death to CRT! Long live the New Flesh! >.<

Email Me Biff on Twitter -
So my TV died. -.-

It didn't go out with a poof or a flash, either. No... that old thing hung on to half a picture. Like, the ray only fires to about halfway up the tube before it sticks. This made for a very odd Friday morning/bedtime for me.

I ended up spending Far too much time this past weekend trying to find a spare TV so I could game and run movies for background noise. In the end, I didn't get a brand new TV. I went with a completely different solution that should work out better for me in the long run. I bought a TV Tuner with VGA out. I have a few old LCDs with decent speakers that easily beat out my old tube in picture quality. It also cost around me $40 for something I can effectively hook up to anything with VGA input and a set of speakers allowing me to upgrade indefinitely! = D

It also cost Way less than a new TV so that's a plus.

Now I'm just trying to find the right adapters 'cause my monitor is a Dell. They threw their hats in with DVI-D which, for those who've never felt the pain of shopping for cables and/or adapters for that, is Not as popular a connection as DVI-I or DVI-A and is COMPLETELY Different in One small section and is almost impossible to easily mod my existing adapters to fit. -.-

I'm going to take a minute to do the rest of my usual rigmarole then physically switch cables around to watch some stuff on my 360. I got a few ideas going for some story stuff. This would be the perfect chance for you submit questions to Biff and the crew if the feeling moves you...

'Till next time! = )
