This is probably the first time ever that I've been able to get a console while it's still considered relatively 'Next Gen'. Normally, the good sales come toward the end of their life cycle or I straight up wait 'till they're considered legacy tech. With some careful coupon codes, a little math and a lot of luck; I made it past the finish line in time to still port my lone Year 1 Exo Hunter account I kept from the demo to the current goodness.

Note: Still haven't played a lick of games on it yet. Got it on the 9th (yesterday, if you're reading this post on the update day) and let it download whatever it needed to get it to current. So far, it's taking the place of the 360 when I'm working - a nice box to run YouTube videos and DVDs on. I want to get ahead on the next strip before I even think about loading up any game-type things.

It's because of folks who've helped keep this whole dealie going via Patreon and product purchases that I could even buy that neat chunk of hot newness. Doesn't make sense to put the strip off 'cause I felt like shooting digital aliens. = )

On that note, I need food. Then it's time to wrap this story bit up.
