Lost a Wheel...

Email Me Biff on Twitter -
I tried to come up with a funny title but yeah... I lost a wheel on my new-ish computer chair. o.o

It's a nice "Gamer" Chair but I found out after finishing the inks on next week's strip that the little plastic wheels are not, in fact, attached to their axles. As in, there's no hole in the wheels to physically stick 'em on their axles.

They are Pressure Fit onto their axles.

Apparently, my terrible floor has taken its toll on my chair's wheels and one of them decided to protest by falling off. -.-

Thankfully, each wheel is actually a Pair of wheels on a central spinning piece. It's that piece that pops into the chair's legs. I may have lost one but I still had nine more little plastic wheels to keep me from taking a digger into the floor as I went to roll from the Art Desk to the scanner on the computer table.

With a little luck, the new set I ordered will both be in tomorrow and fit properly. Instead of pressed on plastic wheels, it's a set made with rollerblade wheels properly attached to a metal(?) central spinning thing. They should be able to withstand a little bit more abuse.

Bonus: I found a Dry Bones toy I had been looking for at a decent price. That should be in that order, too. I'll have new - theoretically better - wheels for my desk and a new desk toy to add to my collection. = )

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on that. And remember to keep your head up.

'Till next time! = )
