The idea of breaking things up to posting a strip every other week was to give me time to build a buffer. I can comfortably finish a strip a week. By posting them with a week inbetween, the idea is that I can have two strips done for every one going up. Starts with one in the buffer and one posted, then it's two in with one up, then three in and so on 'till I have a whole Story Bit done and I can do things like sleep, make products or dip into my Gunpla Backlog.

You know... life away from my Art Desk to recharge my mental batteries and not burn myself out so horribly again.

Humidity kills that as I lose that day of 100% humidity with 100+ degree temps waiting for my paper (and my work area) to dry out. Thanks to the sketchy power in my place, doing things like running air conditioning or maybe even a dehumidifier is out of the question. I'd get a minute or two of possible comfort before things go dark and I'm back to sweating while the rest of the house complains that I tripped the breakers again. -.-

Part of me is hoping these next couple of weeks plays nice but I'm not holding my breath. What I Do know is this current Story Bit (at least the part we're in right now) should be wrapping up soon. Then we get to join another part of our cadre of curious customers as we continue on this little "Day in the Life"-style collection of comics.

I'd say I'm about to get up to eat and stretch but I'm probably only going to stretch. It's still early in my day (HA HA! Not beating the Vampire rumors today.) and my back is complaining in the song of its people: A Dull Pain. So some back medicine and laying down for a minute before I start in on the next strip it is. >.<

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask if you need to. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on all that. And remember to keep your head up.
